The One-Eyed Watcher is a mental Floor 3 challenge introduced in Series 2.

The Caretaker’s Explanation of the Game[]

Roll up, roll up, for the One-Eyed Watcher! He’ll be keeping one eye on the Unfortunates and his other eye on the table. To pass this challenge, Unfortunates must follow his eyeball and find it under the gold cups three times. Get it wrong three times and they will fail!

Layout[]

The room is plain with a tent in the middle. The tent has purple and white stripes and is where the challenge is played. Inside the tent are hay bales, and on the left is the One-Eyed Watcher, with his pedestal and gold cups.

Challenge Character[]

The titular challenge character is the One-Eyed Watcher. He is a man with a fortune teller theme, wears a green turban and a purple blindfold that covers his eyes. On his turban is an eyeball, which The Caretaker mentions is used to keep an eye on the Unfortunates. In front of the One-Eyed Watcher is his pedestal where he has his cups. He is played by Peter Wardell.

Gameplay[]

The challenge is played in a simple memory game format, with the One-Eyed Watcher placing an eyeball (which is a small ball painted to look like an eye) under one of his gold cups. He then scrambles and swaps the three cups, with the Unfortunates having to use their brains to guess which cup the eye was hiding under. In order to pass, the team have to get three correct guesses, but if they get three incorrect guesses, they fail. During the challenge, The Voice tells the Saboteur which cup the eye is hiding under.
