Matthew was a boy from Bootle and appeared as an Unfortunate in Series 4, Episode 6 (Bootle). According to The Caretaker, he has an unusual nickname.

Matthew appeared in the sixth episode of Trapped! Ever After. The episode originally aired on October 25, 2010.
Matthew's Journey Through The Tower[]
On Floor 6 'The Lost Invitations', Matthew was chosen as the Saboteur. His job was to stop the team posting six invitations before the time ran out. He successfully sabotaged the challenge and received four votes as Saboteur - one from Bobbie-Leigh because "He voted for me, cos I saw him rip the ball invitation", one from Rhea because "He took ages in the booth", one from Harry because "When he went in the booth, you could hear ripping", and one from Fern because "When I was going into the booth, he took a while coming out". Matthew voted for Bobbie-Leigh because "She hasn't been talking". Paul also voted for Bobbie-Leigh. As the team failed and Matthew was detected as the Saboteur, he got trapped.
When The Voice asked Matthew "Any last words?", Matthew said "I'm really gutted I got trapped first".

- Matthew is the only Saboteur in The Lost Invitations to be detected by the other Unfortunates.
- Another Unfortunate with a name similar to his also appeared, being Matt from Series 3, Episode 8 (Paisley), whose real name is also Matthew.
- Matthew is the final saboteur to be detected on floor 6.
