Joseph (also known as Joe[1][2]) was a boy from Birmingham, and appeared as an Unfortunate in Series 2, Episode 9 (Birmingham). According to The Caretaker, he is a Victorian chimney sweep.

Joseph appeared in the ninth episode of Series 2, which originally aired on September 4, 2008.
Joseph's Journey Through The Tower[]
On Floor 6 'Body Shock', Joseph was chosen as the Saboteur. He had to make the team fail by ensuring the body was not completed when the time ran out. He successfully sabotaged the challenge and received four votes as Saboteur - one from Taela because "I could hear his footsteps at the side of me", one from Jonah because "He was always near the cage when the blackout ended", one from Alex because "He was always by the cage when the blackout ended", and one from Elvira because "He didn't bother to pick up pieces of the people in the cage". Joseph voted for Elvira as the Saboteur because "When the blackout ended, she was always by the things that had been moved". Rhiana voted for Jonah. As the team failed and Joseph was detected as the Saboteur, he got trapped.
When The Voice asked Joseph "Why do you think the others voted for you?", Joseph said "Cos everyone could hear me creeping over there to get the Botherers out".
Trivia[]
- He is the second Unfortunate named Joseph to appear. The others appeared in Series 1, Episode 7 (Brighton) and Series 3, Episode 9 (Walton). He is the only Joseph who wasn't trapped on Floor 5.
