Trivia[]

  • Whilst telling William he was the saboteur, the Voice accidentally told him that the healthy teeth were the ones with only one point. This was a mistake, as she later says that all healthy teeth are white. Teeth with one point were healthy in Series 2, Episode 5 (Liverpool).
  • On Floor 5, Aaron was the only unfortunate to vote for the saboteur which was Elise and everyone else voted for him.
  • In Extraction, there was a number 5 on the wall instead of the usual 3. This was likely a mistake. (In the Fight For Freedom, William is asked "What was the name of the game on Floor 5?" to which he incorrectly answers "Extraction"; the number 5 on the wall of the room may have caused this confusion).
  • On Floor 3, Jake was the only unfortunate to vote for the saboteur which was William and everyone else (William and Elise) voted for him.
  • The Voice asked Aaron two questions which were "Why did you think the others voted for you?" and "How do you feel about being trapped?" unlike everyone else. This also happened to Wolfgang and Puja in Series 1, Episode 3 (Cambridge) and Jaimee and Florence in Series 1, Episode 7 (Brighton).
  • The Caretaker's made up fact about Aaron says that he won Strictly Come Dancing in 1928, although Strictly Come Dancing didn't exist around about then.
  • This is the last episode where the game Freaky Factory ever failed. Elise is also the second and last Freaky Factory saboteur to escape the Tower, the first being Nikica from Series 1, Episode 2 (Willesden).
  • This is the first episode to have The Caretaker respond to viewers' "scribble notes", which continued into a few episodes of Series 3. This was also the only Series 2 episode to feature the scribble notes.
  • During the Caretaker’s descriptions of the unfortunates, the Caretaker incorrectly pronounces Elise as 'Elsie'.
  • On Floor 5, when Elise voted for Aaron, the camera cut to Jake instead of Aaron.
  • During Series 2 and 3, the unfortunates jump through the trap door in the order of line up from left to right. However, after Body Shock, Aaron, Elise and Jake are seen jumping through before Jorgie, despite Jorgie being the closest to the left in the lineup. However, when Jorgie is seen jumping, Elise and Aaron are standing behind her. Therefore, it's possible that the filming was spliced together incorrectly during the specific segment.
  • After Sophie is trapped in Body Shock, she is seen sitting on the table when asked "Why do you think the others voted for you?" instead of normally standing like the other unfortunates trapped in Body Shock.
  • Jorgie is the only saboteur in this episode to be detected. Jake successfully sabotaged Body Shock without getting any votes, while both Elise and William successfully sabotaged Freaky Factory and Extraction respectively, and both got one vote each in the respective challenge.
  • Aaron is the only unfortunate in this episode without hair of at least shoulder length.
  • On Floor 6, when the Voice reveals Jake as the real saboteur, one of the Botherers can be seen opening the cage.
  • This is the only time in Extraction with healthy teeth being a certain colour in which the saboteur (William) successfully sabotaged the challenge.
