Series 3, Episode 13 is an episode of Trapped!. It is the final Series 3 episode and the final to use the original Trapped! formula.

Episode Description []

This episode aired on the 27th of March 2009, and is the final episode of Series 3. The unfortunates in this episode were from Bolton.

  • Nathan (boy), who's a Georgian dentist

The Tower[]

Floor 6[]

- Challenge: Goblet of Ice

- Saboteur: Meganne

- Status: Challenge was failed. Saboteur drew the short straw.

- Voting: Nathan received 3 votes. Meganne received 3 votes. Meganne drew the short straw.

- Trapped: Meganne

- Details: Nathan slipped off the ice four times. Meganne slipped off once.

- Meganne's last words: I feel disappointed because I thought I could get a bit further.

Floor 5[]

- Challenge Character: The Fairies

- Challenge: Fairy Trials

- Saboteur: Nathan

- Status: Challenge was failed. Saboteur was undetected.

- Voting: Chris received 3 votes. Ben received 2 votes.

- Trapped: Chris

- Details: There was 1 correct guess and 3 incorrect guesses. All the bad fairies had no gloves. Nathan was in charge of the lever, and Sophie placed the traps in the exterminator.

- Chris' last words: Alright, because I can blow up more fairies.

Floor 4[]

- Challenge Character: Madam Deux Visage

- Challenge: Two-Faced Liar

- Saboteur: Andi

- Status: Challenge was failed. Saboteur was undetected.

- Voting: Ben received 3 votes. Sophie received 1 vote.

- Trapped: Ben

- Details: There was 1 correct guess, and 3 incorrect guesses. 

- Ben's last words: I'm normally pretty smart at school and I got the Tudor question wrong.  

Floor 3[]

- Challenge Character: None

- Challenge: Forbidden Chambers

- Saboteur: Andi (again)

- Status: Challenge was failed. Saboteur was undetected.

- Voting: Sophie received 2 votes. Andi received 1 vote.

- Trapped: Sophie

- Details: Orange tower completed.

- Sophie's last words: I think the others voted for me because I was in a room that they both needed to get through.

Floor 2[]

- Details: Nathan answered 4 questions correctly. Andi answered 3 questions correctly. 11 questions were asked.

- Winner: Nathan

- Andi's last words: I feel really bad. I thought I could make it through the Tower but I haven't been paying attention to the game so I feel a bit ashamed of myself.

- Nathan said: I'm free, finally!

Trivia[]

  • During the challenge Goblet of Ice, Nathan fell off the ice four times and Meganne fell off once, however this caused the unfortunates to vote for Nathan and Meganne they said that they fell off the ice leading to a draw. Interestingly, all of the boys (Nathan, Ben, Chris) voted for Meganne while all of the girls (Sophie, Meganne, Andi) voted for Nathan.
  • On Floor 3, Sophie was the only unfortunate to vote for the saboteur which was Andi and everyone else voted for Sophie
  • This is the last episode to have games from the past series on only one episode, these include Goblet of Ice and Fairy Trials.
  • Another batch of unfortunates from Bolton appear in Series 4, Episode 13 (Bolton), an entire series later.
  • These are the final appearances of Goblet of Ice, Fairy Trials, Two Faced Liar and Forbidden Chambers.
  • Bristol is mentioned in this episode by the Caretaker. Bristol was the location of the unfortunates back in Series 2, Episode 11 (Bristol).
  • This is one of the only occasions an unfortunate seemed to have sworn during a challenge (Andi appeared to be mouthing the word '----' upon learning Nathan beat her on Floor 2.)
  • Meganne is the only girl to be trapped in Goblet of Ice. She is also the only saboteur trapped in Goblet Of Ice to not receive five votes.
  • Chris is the only boy to be trapped in Fairy Trials.
  • Nathan is the only Saboteur in Fairy Trials to escape without any votes. The Caretaker even compliments this. He is also the only unfortunate in charge of the lever to escape the Tower.
  • This is the last episode where the show is called Trapped. It would be called Trapped Ever After staring Series 4.
  • This is the only time in Forbidden Chambers where a tower of boxes was completed despite the challenge being sabotaged. In this case, the orange room was completed.
  • This episode was the closest the team ever got to passing Forbidden Chambers. After Nathan completed the orange tower, he took the last purple crate and was about to enter the purple room when Andi took a purple crate into the green room as the time ran out, meaning Nathan was unable to complete the purple tower, being one crate short. Additionally, Sophie had the final green crate and was about to move it into the green room before time ran out, not knowing Andi was in there.
  • This is the only time in Fairy Trials to feature fairies with white hair and white skin.
  • Due to her losing the Draw Straws tie to Nathan, Meganne is the only saboteur in this episode to be detected. Nathan sabotaged Fairy Trials without getting any votes, while Andi successfully sabotaged Two-Faced Liar and Forbidden Chambers, remaining undetected on both occasions.
  • In Fairy Trials, there was no sound effect played when the fairy appears on the screen of the exterminator. In addition, the splats when a fairy is blown up were green instead of the blue splats in all other appearances of the challenge. These changes are probably a result of this being Fairy Trials' only Series 3 appearance. However, the challenge description shows the fairies exploding into green goo, probably due to being recycled from Series 2.
  • Meganne is the only saboteur in Goblet of Ice to lose a Draw Straws tie.
  • During Forbidden Chambers, Andi was acting very quiet and not interacting with the team very much. She only started to speak up after the Voice warned her that she would be detected if she didn't interact with the others. In Series 3, Episode 9 (Walton), Elizabeth (the saboteur in said episode) was detected as a result of her failing to interact with the other unfortunates.
  • During the Fight for Freedom on Floor 2, after The Voice asked Nathan "What was the name of the challenge on Floor 3?", even though Nathan had said the correct answer - Forbidden Chambers, The Voice had already told him he was too slow to answer just before he said it, so it didn't count.
