Trivia[]

  • On Floor 3, Edwin was the only Unfortunate to vote for the Saboteur, which was Carmen, and the others (Carmen and Lily) voted for Edwin.
  • This is the first and only episode when the unfortunates played Horror Heads on Floor 4, possibly due its difficulty. This is the only episode when a non-mental challenge is played on Floor 4.
  • Given Horror Heads is the only timed challenge on Floor 4 and this is the only episode with Horror Heads, this is also the only episode in the show where the Floor 4 challenge was time based.
  • Carmen is the only Saboteur in Wicked Wardrobes to escape the Tower. She is also the only saboteur in Wicked Wardrobes to occupy the wardrobe on the left.
  • Another batch of unfortunates from Liverpool appear in Series 2, Episode 5 (Liverpool).
  • This is the only episode in which all of the challenges are exclusive to Series 1, but none of which appear in any subsequent series.
  • Final appearances of Black Widow (possibly due to an alleged faulty machine according to Ross), Feed Me Lies and Horror Heads.
  • After the voice asks Lily, "How do you feel about being trapped?", Lily breaks the fourth wall by saying she feels fine as she got the opportunity to appear on TV.
  • Edwin also breaks the fourth wall in Feed Me Lies by saying "Well we are all sitting here, we've all got straight hair and we got on the show."
  • All of the shots of Lily jumping through the trap doors only showed Lily's face right before she jumped through the door, excluding Floor 5.
  • This is the only episode in Series 1 where the unfortunates are seen jumping through the trap door from a specific order, like in Series 2 and 3, which is on Floor 5 (Feed Me Lies).
  • During Feed Me Lies, when the unfortunates were discussing an answer to the question “An elephant can’t jump”, Emily made up the excuse “It’s in The Jungle Book!” to try and make the team answer incorrectly. The others did not believe this, which was what likely led to the challenge being passed and Emily getting detected. Edwin also addresses Emily’s excuse when he voted for her.
  • During Series 1, the unfortunates are seen jumping through the trapdoor in a blank room. However, after Feed Me Lies, the layout for the challenge is still present.
