Fairy Trials is a mental Floor 5 challenge introduced in Series 2.

The Caretaker's Explanation of the Game Edit

For the little people, it's Judgement Day. To pass this challenge, the Unfortunates must place the fairy traps into the exterminator, so they can get a real good look at them. If they decide it's a good fairy, they must release it. If they decide it's a bad fairy, they must blow it up. If they guess wrong three times, they will fail!

Layout Edit

The room has shelves with books and magical potions located in the back, as well as purple curtains. In the middle is a large fairy exterminator where the Unfortunates have to decide to release or exterminate a fairy.

Challenge Character Edit

The challenge characters are the fairies, which are found inside fairy traps lying on the floor. Some of the fairies are good, and have to be released, while others are bad and have to be exterminated. They have varying skin and hair colours.

Gameplay Edit

The Unfortunates have to work as a team to decide the fate of a fairy based on if the fairy is good or bad. If they decide it's a good fairy, they have to release her. But if they decide she is a bad fairy, they have to exterminate her. During the challenge, one Unfortunate will be in control of the lever on the exterminator while another will place the fairy traps. The Unfortunate using the lever will have to pull it up to release the fairy, or pull down to blow the fairy up. To pass the challenge, the Unfortunates must get three correct answers. If they get three incorrect answers, they will fail. At the start of the challenge, The Voice tells the Saboteur which characteristic the bad fairies will have.
